Paul Marshall is a teacher, conductor and performer, specialising in wind instruments, particularly saxophone, clarinet and flute.

He has over 25 years experience in various styles and genres.

He is currently the Head of Winds, Brass and Percussion at NECOM.

Paul has extensive experience as an ensemble conductor, currently directing the New England Wind Ensemble, JazzLab and several school ensembles amongst others.

Paul is also a composer of contemporary and jazz wind music, with books published by Reedmusic, band pieces shortlisted with Randall Standridge Music and several pieces included in the AMEB syllabuses for saxophone, clarinet and cello.

Originally from Sydney, Louisa and Paul ran their own music studio preparing their students and small ensembles for concerts, exams and HSC performances before moving to Armidale in 2015.
